Employee Orientation Videos - Rich Products Corporation, Arlington, TN

Rich Products Corporation, Arlington, TN - Employee Orientation Video

eMotion Picture Studios recently completed an employee orientation video for Rich Products Corporation in Arlington Tennessee. Rich Arlington had an excellent problem. The business was expanding and needed to hire many new employees. They had decided to make a new employee orientation video. They wanted to show a new employee what a great company they were about to join. They wanted to convey what is expected from their new employees. They also wanted to show the video to the current employees. Some of the current staff may have been hired without proper orientation. This can happen to any corporation when the product demand goes through the roof and a companies only response is to grow quickly thus hiring new employees.

One of the most effective methods of teaching employee orientation is a combination of spending time with the supervisors and watching a employee orientation video. Often a supervisor will spend time with more then one new employee and may forget an important piece of information. A custom employee orientation video can cover all the information that the new hire needs to know. The video can set the tone for the company. The video can motivate and create excitement as well as informing employees of the expectations for safety, quality, productivity, and standards of conduct (can cover legal aspects of informing employees).

Rich Products Corporation hired eMotion Picture Studios to create a custom employee orientation video. eMotion finished in just eight days with full approval. They achieved this by meeting everybody who is currently involved in training activities. Next they establish the key objectives and content to be conveyed and featured in the video. Once the storyboard is agreed upon the process starts very early on the first day. The filming, editing, graphics, and special effects emphasizing key points, are achieved at the plant. The approvals are done each day. When the Rich team makes suggestions, the eMotion team does real-time editing. It’s a wonderful, interactive process that deletes the slow process of approvals. Essentially, the employee orientation video is being approved as we go do to the onsite editing.

The entire video is saved onto our live back-up hard drive system. This means that Rich Foods can change, delete or improve portions of the video in the future with ease.

Since we completed this video for Rich Foods, we were hired to complete over 6 additional videos on a wide variety of topics. Some of those videos were additional employee orientation videos for other plants. We continue to work with the team at Rich Foods.
